What is Tarot?

Tarot cards are a beautiful way to tap into our intuition. Everyone has their own developed and trusted intuition, we’re often just too busy and there’s too much noise around for us to hear it. Tarot lets you slow down and seek the support that our soul craves. It can help guide us in the right direction, clarify questions we have, and enlighten us to the world, ourselves, and those around us better. For me, having a soul conversation using tarot cards is like a counselling session you didn’t even know you needed, or a big warm hug from a friend!

How can Tarot help me?

In SO many ways! You would be surprised how many people turn to Tarot, for every day guidance, support, professional advice and for soul self care. This is because taking the time to do something good for yourself, and connecting with your intuition, works. It empowers you, and provides you with pathways forward. It can clear up confusion, reinforce your instincts, identify hidden areas of your life that need your attention, show potential outcomes if you continue on your current path or provide advice on what you can do to bring about a different outcome. How does it work?

You select the right reading for you, and I’ll provide you with a personal video showing the cards, the Tarot spread, and explaining the energies that come through for the current situation. The readings are completely private and confidential, and only accessible to you when I share your own personal video link with you. The great thing about providing you with a video reading is that it’s all yours. You can watch it and absorb it in your own space and time, and it’s yours to keep forever! There are no card limits or time limits on my readings, because I truly believe in taking the time and energy to provide you with all the messages needed to empower, evolve and energize you to live your best life.

Why should I read with you?

Because I’m probably just like you. Someone who wants to connect with people who care. Someone who wants to have a conversation that’s beyond small talk, but may feel apprehensive about seeing a traditional Tarot reader. Someone who is curious about their life, a truth seeker and a constant learner. I’m a professional intuitive reader, who delivers straight up, empowering messages to my clients to get actionable advice and leave my readings feeling confident and connected to their inner wisdom. I focus on the most important messages for you, and connect with your soul. My readings are delivered via video, so you get to see the whole process and really hear and understand your personal message. Plus, this isn’t all serious business! I like to have a laugh, and tell it like it is (note, my readings may have colorful language - apologies in advance!). Should I only request readings when I’m going through difficult times?

Definitely not! Tarot will certainly help guide you through troubling times, and be of comfort as you navigate tricky paths, however it can also be used during many stages of our lives. People use tarot when they’re going through change, or thinking about making a change. Sometimes they just want insights, or to view things in a way they hadn’t thought of before. Often, people use tarot in their daily lives as a spiritual connection and a way to tap into their own intuition and have a soul conversation. Having a tarot reading can be a super enlightening, uplifting and a very fun time - request one today and see for yourself!

I’ve never done this before and I’m afraid of what I might hear!

I get it, Tarot can seem a bit weird and intimidating. It’s normal to feel nervous before receiving a reading. Also, what’s with all the crystal balls and hippy stuff? Modern Tarot is totally different. It’s delivered in an accessible, down to earth style. It’s connecting on a human level, to facilitate soul conversations. There’s nothing you need to know or be prepared for before receiving your reading. You just need to receive it with an open heart, and be ready to welcome the energy. All of my readings are completely inclusive, respectful, totally judgement free and completed with genuine care for you. I strongly believe in empowering and uplifting individuals, and that’s all I use Tarot for.

Do I have to know what to ask?

Not at all! It’s okay if you’re unsure what to ask, or if you’re just curious about Tarot. Check out the different personal reading packages here and see which category you connect with. Can’t find one that feels right? Pick a ‘something else’ general reading and the cards will guide us to your focus areas, instead!

Can I request more than one reading?

Absolutely! Maybe you have a question about your current connection, but you also want to know about your career prospects. Easy! Just add both readings to your cart, and each reading will be delivered to you separately, with the same amount of time, energy and focus put into each subject, so you get the most accurate, personal and intuitive read for you.

Is it accurate?

Virtual readings are just as accurate as in person readings. Energy and vibrations connect at a soul level, so it doesn’t matter where in the world you are, your reading will be accurate and provide the messages you need to hear at that time. Note, this doesn’t mean it will always provide the messages you WANT to hear! Trust the universe, because sometimes we don’t realize we needed to hear something, until later when the time is right and we’re ready to receive it. I have done many virtual readings for clients all over the world, resulting in amazing connections and clear outcomes. You can read their feedback here

Do you predict the future?

Contrary to some beliefs, Tarot is not fortune telling or future predicting. The cards will deliver messages for us, and allow our intuition to connect with our souls, in order to bring about change, clarity or focus. Tarot can provide potential outcomes, accurately based on the current energy surrounding a situation, and it is amazing for connecting to your current soul state, however I strongly believe everyone has free will, therefore how the situation unfolds cannot be predetermined or predestined.

How often can I use Tarot to guide me?

I pull cards every day for guidance, and to keep my intuition on point, but the maximum number of readings I recommend is one reading every two months. If you’re having readings more regularly than this, the messages are not going to provide the most insight for you, and it can actually be more distracting and distressing, than the beautiful soulful conversation it should be. For this reason, I have the right to refuse anyone who I believe is seeking readings too often, as this goes against my policy and ethics.

What if I have questions about my reading?

You might watch your reading and have some questions come up that you’d like clarified. This is normal and sometimes to be expected, especially as we can’t cover everything in one virtual reading! Every reading includes one clarifying question in it’s price. Just email contact (at) moderntarot (dot) org if you have one after watching your reading, be sure to include your order number and name, and my clarifying response will be provided to you via written email.

How do I book follow up or regular readings?

Subscribe to our Soul Circle! This amazing subscription service provides regular readings so you don’t have to remember to come back and request one. All the work is done for you. Simply sign up, and you’ll be provided with 6 readings per year. I’ll be in contact with your reading reminder on a bi-monthly basis so you can select which energies you want to focus on, and we go from there. What payment types do you accept?

I currently accept all major credit cards and PayPal payments. Payments are processed through highly secure processing platforms only.

When will I receive my reading?

A lot of time, energy and focus goes into each and every individual personal reading I provide. Please allow up to 7 working days for your personal video reading to be sent to you. The reading will be sent to the email you provide on checkout, so be sure to add the correct email address. If you haven’t received your reading after 7 working days, check your spam or junk mail folders, add @moderntarot.org to your safe email list, and if it still isn’t there, please reach out using the contact form below or email contact (at) moderntarot (dot) org

Can I get a refund if what I receive doesn’t feel right?

Reading requests are final. A lot of time, energy and focus goes into your personal reading and refunds will not be provided for change of mind, or if the messages delivered aren’t what you expected. Remember, go into Tarot with an open heart and no expectations - you’re seeking information, clarity, advice and a soul conversation, so often the areas that come up can be sensitive, confronting or confusing. This is okay. It may not feel right in the moment, but trust you needed to hear it for your highest good and give yourself time to reflect on your reading.
